Sažetak

This is a recently deciphered text of the inscription on the ḥammām in Novi Pazar. On the basis of the chronogram of the inscription it can be seen that the above-mentioned - ḥammām was erected in 1002 A. H. (1593/1594 A. D.). It was just in that year that Ḥafiz Ahmed-Pasha was appointed muḥāfiẓ of Bosnia, in whose time, according to the report of Evilyā Çelebi, the above-mentioned building was erected.
