Former Results Ofthe Researches of Kosovo Literature in Oriental Languages

Abstract

The researches of the literature written in Orientallanguages at the territory of Ottoman Empire, had started in Germany and England a long time ago. In comparison with the results of their researches, as well as with the significant results achieved by the Orientalists from Bosnia and Herzegovina, the picture of the researches of this literature in Kosovo is completely different. The main data about Kosovo's literature in Oriental languages can be found in the capital works written by the Orientalists from the above mentioned regions. As for the researches done by the Orientalists from Kosovo, their results can be regarded as important only in the last few years. The autor is also of the opinion that by now only 50 percent of the material have been collected, which means that the researches must be continued.
