Abstract

In the year 1762, confiscated assets of assassinated Bosnian vali Mehmed Pasha Kukavica was directed to Istanbul. More than a hundred various objects were the content of the shipment that was to be sold on public bid subsequently hold in the indoor Sultan’s chambers of Topkapı Palace.  Among confiscated assets there were: various types of weapons, military and horse equipment, several clothing and some some household appliances.  The subjected document is of great importance because it testifies on private property of the Mehmed Pasha Kukavica, and at the same time provides insight into the assets of the social elite in the mid of 18th Century.
